ASOS, one of the leading online fashion retailers, has officially opened its state-of-the-art Fulfillment Center in Litchfield, Staffordshire, with Michael Fabricant, Conservative MP for Litchfield and Clare Doug Pullen, Conservative Leader of Litchfield County Council.
The facility in Fradley Park, which will employ 2,000 people over the next three years, is managed by GXO Logistics, has already recruited more than 700 people.
ASOS will invest a total of £90 million in the new 437,000 square foot fulfillment center and use it to serve customers in the UK and more than 150 countries around the world. ASOS expects to ship more than 30 million units in the site’s first year, and up to 4.5 million units per week once the site is fully up and running and automation is complete. The location will enable ASOS to meet growing customer demand and support its ambitions to reach £7 billion in annual revenue within the next three to four years.

The Fradley Park Depot joins a growing number of ASOS Global Fulfillment Centers. ASOS currently operates three other fulfillment centers, in Barnsley, Berlin and Atlanta.
