Today’s Petrol and Diesel Prices in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad: Petrol and diesel prices have been reduced as central and state governments have decided to cut taxes on the occasion of Diwali. Petrol in the national capital today costs 103.97 rupees per liter, roughly 7 rupees less than it did earlier this week. Meanwhile, diesel in the capital was retailing at 86.67 rupees per liter, down more than 12 rupees. Prices were lowered as the central government lowered the excise tax on petrol by Rs 5 and Rs 10 on diesel. State governments have also lowered value-added tax, which has lowered fuel rates in various states. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) and hindustan petroleum company Ltd. (HPCL) Review fuel prices daily in line with standard international rates and foreign exchange rates.

BJP-ruled states cut rates further

Petrol price in Bengaluru, Karnataka has decreased by about Rs 13 per liter
Noida Uttar Pradesh Price is 12 rupees per liter lower today
Gurugram in Haryana has seen a decrease of Rs 10 per liter in the price of petrol
In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the price has been reduced by 11 rupees per liter

Meanwhile in New Delhi, the price of petrol has been reduced by only Rs 6 per liter. The cost of petrol in Mumbai remains the highest across metro cities, at Rs 109.98 per liter. Diesel in the country’s financial capital costs Rs 94.14 per liter. The difference in prices between Delhi and Mumbai is due to the different local VAT charges in different cities. Gasoline and diesel prices are determined based on freight charges, local taxes and value-added tax. Petrol price is still above the Rs 100 mark per liter in Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and some cities of Bihar and Punjab.

-Bengaluru: petrol prices – 100.58 rupees per liter; Diesel prices – 85.01 rupees per liter
– Hyderabad: petrol prices – 108.20 rupees per liter; Diesel prices – 94.62 rupees per liter
-Noida (UP): gasoline prices – 95.51 per liter; Diesel prices – 87.01 rupees per liter
– Mohali (Punjab): petrol prices – 106.20 rupees per liter; Diesel prices – 89.83 per liter
-Chandigarh: Gasoline prices Rs 94.23 per liter; Diesel prices – 80.90 rupees per liter
– Gurugram (Haryana): petrol prices – 95.90 rupees per liter; Diesel prices – 87.11 rupees per liter

Crude oil price

Crude oil prices rose on Friday as OPEC ignored calls for an increase in oil supply. According to Reuters, Brent crude futures were trading at $81.36 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate futures were at $79.78 a barrel.
