In Chennai, the yellow metal was being sold at Rs 44,830, according to the website.
In New Delhi, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold was 50,940 rupees. In Chennai, it is trading at Rs 48,910. Mumbai averages 47,460 rupees, while Kolkata is 49,590 rupees, according to the website.
