ARPA Chain (ARPA) and Perpetual Protocol (PERP) now available on Coinbase


Starting today, the ARPA Series (ARPA) and Perpetual Protocol (PERP) are available on Coinbase.com and in the Coinbase Android and iOS apps. Coinbase customers can now trade, send, receive or store ARPA and PERP In most regions supported by Coinbase, with certain exceptions described on every asset page here. Trading these assets is also supported on Coinbase Pro.

ARPA Series (ARPA) It is an Ethereum token that powers the ARPA Chain, a computational network that enables privacy-preserving smart contracts, data storage, and scalable off-chain transactions. The ARPA token can be used to pay for data and accounts as well as control the future of the network.

Perpetual Protocol (PERP) It is the token of Ethereum that powers the Perpetual Protocol, a decentralized exchange of perpetual contracts. With perpetual contracts, users can open long or short leveraged trading positions for a variety of assets.

One of the most common requests we hear from customers is the ability to buy and sell more cryptocurrencies on Coinbase. We announced an asset listing process, designed in part to accelerate the addition of more cryptocurrencies. We are also investing in new tools to help people understand and explore cryptocurrencies. We launched the Information Asset Pages (see Barley And PERP), as well as a new section on the Coinbase website to answer frequently asked questions about cryptocurrencies.

Customers can sign up for a Coinbase account here to buy, sell, transfer, send, receive or store the Coinbase Android and iOS apps. Coinbase customers can now trade, send, receive or store ARPA and PERP Today.
